Next, the pump should have low power consumption rate. To get this information, you may check its motor size or the pumping mechanism it uses. Overheating and explosion may be some of the risks of a pump taking in too much power.
Iron and any other materials that rust should not be used to make pumps. Owing to this, materials used to make water pumps are mainly composites of stainless steel. If a pump rusts, it means the metal materials that make it will find their way to the user and that may be a health hazard.
Finally, as we have established earlier, pumps may heat up and explode during the pumping process. This is a hazard to the users. As a result of this, pump making materials need to be explosion-proof.
